at 36:17 DSP spends 3 bars burning himself out with a drive rush combo consisting of 3 cr.mps and a mp for 2754, where as hk>microwalk forward> cr.hp > qcb hp does 2700 and takes no meter. he knows one route and has never ever labbed pc routes

Phil dosent know what a flow chart is, he cant understand meaty attacks, he has no idea that bison has literally always lost to neutral jump(like all his move are grounded and the few air move he has are trash) but he played sf2 years ago and NO ONE did combos or 50-50's or reads or guesses. All this new fangled tech and no one in the fgc is talking about it?

He's saying Phil Barelli is doing the same Couching medium Punch 4 times, into a Medium Punch Special move (You can get different versions of the special move based on the punch button you press), into his Level 3 Supermove (You get supers over time by fighting). In other words he's calling Phil Barelli a hypocritical flowchart player.

He's always pressing something.. He calls people "button spammers" but why is he always pressing on block? No wonder people always open him up, he knows nothing about frame data. You'd think if it's all flow chart easy mode stuff he'd know the frame data and know when to press. "If I don't interrupt her" blah blah blah, why aren't you doing it properly then? You've played enough Cammys and always complain about her so why aren't you learning anything? It's one thing to complain when you don't know. That can be frustrating but he's played so many Cammys at this point that he should know what's safe and what isn't. It's not difficult to learn. If you're playing the same 4 characters as he likes to complain about (Cammy, Akuma, Ryu and Bison) then go lab them. See what's punishable and what isn't. See what you can armour through and can't. See where the interruptions are. Should be simple since it's all "flow chart nonsense" right? He refuses to learn. He wants all the reward with none of the effort. If you keep making the mistakes and losing to the same things over and over the problem isn't the game, the problem is you for letting it happen and not learning and adapting. I'm not a fighting game player, I much prefer to watch and it's players like him and LTG that never wanna learn. They just complain and moan about the other player and never look at their own gameplay and figure out what they're doing wrong. Obviously because they are playing perfectly and never make mistakes and it's the other players somehow playing a totally different game. Absolute jokes. If you wanna get better you have to put in the effort. It's not like days gone by anymore. Fighting games have changed. You have to actually learn matchups now and can't bet on the other person not knowing your OP busted character and you can't just throw an OP busted character at people anymore because everyone actually learns the matchup now. Especially the broken OP characters that the lolvows love to complain about but play themselves. That's what the internet has made easier so get with the times and learn if you wanna win. Or don't and just cry and shout and moan like a petulant child, that's funny content because watching full grown men cry about videogames makes me feel much better about my life. It could always be worse, I could be crying at videogames and refuse to learn from my mistakes. So I hope they don't learn, it's funny stuff.

The Blanka set at 40:12 is hilarious to me after yesterday's stream. He complained about how if you win 2-1 against someone you should have a net gain on points, regardless of ranking. The Blanka beat him (-4 for DSP), then lost to him (+12 for DSP), then won again (-4 for DSP?). We didn't see the end MR for Phil after that match, but assuming he lost 4 again, he gained 4 MR for losing 1-2 to the Blanka. Really just serves as additional proof to me that he's so far up his own ass that he can't possibly be objective. It's like he's never seen how an ELO system works in his entire life.

50:51 DSP was holding down and down forward for so long he had charge set and because as you pointed his execution is ass he ended on upforward which gave him headstomp and proceeds to blame game and netcode, standard dsp. 51:59 Here he does it again where he's holding down back and back which is giving him charge and doesn't clear the charge by at least walking forward a few frames before the throwing out the Stand heavy Punch. against Usual dsp. One more edit 1:03:30 This pretty much shows how much dsp tries to react to things, he sees a twitch and just throws out wake up reversal. No thought, just does it.

Thé game doesn’t give you drive reversal sometimes tbf, he’s correct on that and you can see he pressed forward then drive impact but game gave him impact instead of reversal

Ya u have to press them simultaneously, as in at the Exact same time and phil hit forward to early which registered as walk forward DI instead of the DR imput

Most times when he doesn't get it, it's due to doing DRC and not being in neutral on the stick. If he's getting DI on wakeup instead of Drive Reversal it's cause of it no longer being wakeup state or blockstun state

So I’m not a fighting game player, accept for smash melee and budokai tenchaichi 3 (years ago). But I looked up on several different website on sf6 characters. This is fascinating to watch; Phil has created his own alternate reality where he's the best player in Masters and everyone else are flowchart scrubs...when in reality HE'S the scrub that plays flowchart every match and every character.
