man Daigo was being a dick with all those throws tho. he's so skilled hes really beyond having to do that to win. smh I hate throw loops. we can always debate that if u get caught in em its because your not paying attention or responsive enough, but when it comes to elite players like Daigo, I can imagine even the most cautious player wud fall for it most times because you don't expect someone who's nice enough to destroy u resort to something so petty. thats why its a dick move. glad throw loops got nerfed. but honestly it needs to be nerfed some more for characters like Akuma with his crazy walk speed. none the less the other fights were gud tho. Daigo is still a beast

imagine being so skilled that you no longer qualify beating opponents with basic moves. Being able to link combos is just a small aspect of this fighting game. The mental game is another huge aspect, which is what the throw loop is part of. It's on you to decide whether to counter with punish, parry / block, drive impact or tech on wake up.

@@happyfark8602 I actually agree, n like I said we can all debate that its his fault for getting caught in a throw loop. there are plenty of options to fight back but it's still difficult with Akuma's walk speed and the mind games, and Daigo is a highly skilled player. So about throw loops n gimmicks like that in general; At some point we should really be honest and ask ourselves wat do we actually gain from doing throw loops on a weaker opponent besides the laughs and kicks of watching em struggle. of course it's a part of the game, but when you abuse it just for kicks (because he was clearly gonna win anyway) that's just overkill and humiliating your opponent at the end of the day and its a part of the game yes, but I personally consider it dishonorable to your opponent. and so many elite players do this. if they're not good enough to challenge you, just beat their ass n get it over with GG's. you don't need to abuse a game mechanic or play mental games to win. like I said Daigo is beyond that, be we all know he loves to troll from time to time too. he's still one of my favorite players, thats why I can only say I was dissapointed. its watever tho. still gud fights!
