During my visit to Makkah i often had lunch at the food courts of Makkah Royal Clock Tower, have a look at the inside of the mall and the delicious food you can have there.

When I first time went for Umrah over a couple of decades ago as a child in my early teens, things were very different. What humble atmosphere it was! The old guest houses/hotels, the humble food shops and stalls...Going and staying there was cheap. Staying at the old hotels and the guest houses in front of the Haramain were so cheap that we’d even extend our stay due to the love of the Ka’ba because the only attraction was the House of Allah, the Ka’ba. What a humble and spiritual atmosphere it was without any worldly distractions at all. That time people only used to go there solely with the love of Hajj or Umrah, because Ka’ba was the only main attraction, the Holy attraction. Now I see and hear from people going there with mixed intentions of holiday, honeymoon, shopping, etc. Allaahu Musta’aan! Breaks my heart to see such a massive tower near the Holy Ka’ba. And Allah’s Rasool Sallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam mentioned of all this in His prophecies. May Allah help the Ummah to be steadfast upon the Deen, Ameen.

Kaaba will always be the Kaaba it will always be there and it will never change however Mecca is a city and indeed a city for Muslims to live so in that respect it should provide their needs. The efforts made to increase the holy sites and improve the religious experience shouldnt be missed out.

what do you suggest we should do to house millions of Muslims? towers are not just a decoration it is a great need, and Makkah should be the most beautiful place on earth and luxurious. muslims when the come to saudi they deserve to stay in clean place with all the services they would possiply need , there is no wrong in that , and we in saudi arabia want to make sure of that , so makkah is devoleping all the time .

when i were leaving Makkah last hajj i thought i wont cry . why should i but i don't know why i cried still have no idea . no matter how advance cities you went to if you stay thr for few days . u wont even want to leave Haram most peaceful place . example of paradise . everyone is busy with thr things no one care how other person look or what he or she wears or what someone is doing . best feeling you will every have . really really miss that place .

Yahan par khaane ki firawani aur zayaan dekhiye aur hamare pyare rasool jin ke lie tamam dunya bani. Wo dunyawi hasraton se dur rahne ke lie teen teen din tak bhooke bhi rehte theay.

The variety is incredible now. But I have to say when I went 6years ago it wasn’t about what or where you ate. We were more concerned with what best practices to undertake to maximise our time there. Regrettably, people now explore the malls & miss their salah.

Is this a positive video or a negative video? I'm struggling to understand. Yes There are many options, SubhanAllah! But why do we as humans need so many options? Is the food affordable to poor? Or is Makkah also now dividing people between rich n poor, when all are equal in the same ihram - besides taqwa?I Are we able to remember the sacrifices of our Prophet saw and the sahaba during hajj / umrah ? Or are we too comfortable enjoying the luxuries of this dunya? Remember Our Prophet stayed hungry for days..... صلى الله عليه وسلم

With more people than ever coming to Mecca from all walks of life and countries, it is only to be expected that they are catered for also. Remember we are not living in the past but the reality of the age we live in and the world as it is today. People can hop on a plane and train to get to anywhere in the world. This increases the strain of such places as Mecca to provide for all tastes and to welcome them as best it can.

SubhanAllah. Very nice. I must say that when I first played this video my mind was thinking about other things...poor service in other places would make you think that there is poor service everywhere. I had to focus and remember that at Mecca they are about doing the best service for the House of Allah (swt). As I continued to look I noticed how immaculately clean the surfaces, prep areas, displays. Alhamdulilah. Excellent video and may Allah (swt) reward you dear respected brother (and sister if you were with your wife while filming).

Once i went to makkah for umroh in year 2010. I ate baked chicken at food court in zamzam tower, at 3rd floor. The counter name was 'istanbul' the chicken has a little bit reddish colour if i dont get wrong...and the taste is very good. So many people who was in line waiting for order it. There was also a delicious turkeys salad sold not far from that counter..Also i like the other counter which sold croissant sandwiches near movenpick ice cream.
