In my recent whirlwind adventure, I had the opportunity to explore this vibrant city, starting the day by early checking in at the luxurious Belmorris Hotel for a delightful buffet breakfast. Afterward, we ventured to Multan Ghanta Ghar and the renowned Hafiz Sohan Halwa shop in Old Multan. Join me as I share my unforgettable culinary escapade in the heart of South Punjab.
Belmorris Hotel: A Luxurious Morning Start
My journey began at the Belmorris Hotel, a top-notch accommodation in Multan, known for its exquisite rooms, impeccable service, and a delectable menu offering both local and continental cuisines. I started the day with their sumptuous buffet breakfast, which set the perfect tone for a day of culinary exploration in Multan.
The breakfast spread at the Belmorris was a feast for the senses, featuring an array of local and international dishes. From freshly baked bread to local delicacies like parathas and halwa, the choices were endless. The hotel's attentive staff ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. It was the ideal beginning to a day filled with flavors and traditions.
Multan Ghanta Ghar: A Gastronomic Adventure
After a hearty breakfast at the Belmorris Hotel, our next destination was Multan Ghanta Ghar, a historic clock tower that serves as the epicenter of the city's bustling food scene. Here, we were on a quest to savor the famous dal by Al Quresh, a local eatery that has gained acclaim for its mouthwatering lentil curry. As we entered the charming eatery, the aroma of spices and simmering lentils wafted through the air, instantly whetting our appetite.
The famous dal lived up to its reputation. Served with freshly baked naan and fragrant rice, the dal was an explosion of flavors. The rich and creamy consistency of the lentils combined with the secret blend of spices created a symphony on my taste buds. The meal was further elevated with a side of tangy achar (pickles) and refreshing yogurt, making it a must-try dish for anyone visiting Multan.
Hafiz Sohan Halwa: A Sweet Tradition
After our delightful lunch at Multan Ghanta Ghar, we made our way to Old Multan to explore another culinary gem - Hafiz Sohan Halwa. Hafiz Sohan Halwa is a legendary sweet shop with a history dating back over a century. The shop has become an icon of Multan's culinary heritage, renowned for its delicious and aromatic Sohan Halwa.
As we stepped into the old-fashioned store, we were greeted by the sweet aroma of ghee and saffron. Hafiz Sohan Halwa is not just a dessert; it's a work of art. Made from pure ghee, sugar, and an assortment of nuts and spices, the Sohan Halwa is a confectionery masterpiece. We couldn't resist getting a box of Sohan Halwa as a souvenir to savor this traditional treat even after our short visit to Multan.

I am from Delhi and I watched your videos often and I commented also in the past and got your replies also. Thanks for responding. Its good that in the last one year or so, you are covering other than Street food which are not good in terms of texture , variety, color and portion size and is too costly in Pakistan as I can assess. However, the cost of high tea and other buffet lunch and dinner covered by you are much more reasonable in cost when compared with Pakistan Street food and food at Belmorris high tea looks to be tasty and variety and texture. High tea @ 1785+ tax as I can see in one of the frame of this video. ❤❤
