Indonesian called it Rujak Buah. It was fresh fruits dip in sweet spicy peanut sauce. And for preserved fruit, we called it Asinan.

I wish we have this kind of store in the Philippines that serves freshly cut varieties of tropical fruits... Despite having those tropical fruits. I haven't seen it like that. We may have some of those but not that complete array of tropical exotic fruits in one store. I am drooling for it and the sweet, sour, salty, and spicy combinations are my favorite taste palettes when combined. And I was surprised even the unripe green banana with peel was included. 😯

A lot of the wet dipping sauces contain fish sauce, my advice is if you make sure to ask them if they use fish sauce. Usually the dry dips are a safer bet.

This makes me drooling. We have similar kind of snack here in Indonesia called Rujak, or Rojak in Malay. And those pickled fruits we call it Asinan Buah. Watching this I believe Indonesia and Cambodia share the same roots for foods. After all thousands of years ago, South East Asia was once united as one big nation, so the similarity in culture and culinary was inevitable. We're all brothers and sisters. 😊❤
