When he said that, I knew something wasn't right about that and he was in on it with the supposed mistress. Besides, the actor who played Tommy has had so many bad guy roles in the past, so that's why I wasn't surprised.

"I'm a terrible person". Yes you are a terrible person in the sense that you overreacted to the infidelity allegations from an unknown number. Slapping someone just because they committed a serious wrongdoing without even hearing them explain their side of the story just proves her immaturity. A person who cheats on his/her wife isn't necessarily portrayed to be malicious or opportunistic seeking to damage his/her partner's trust and self-esteem. My mom's work friends who cheat were the most benevolent people who were happily-married to their partners. Of course, I don't condone their act and they had rough times in their marriages but somewhat survived because hurt parties recognized their good qualities that attracted them since the beginning. So they remained faithful until today and learned to forgive and move on from the past.
