Great video, show's you're a much better rider than you think, you have a good balance of risk to reward, no one can improve when they are injured!
@streetpigeonmtb3 ай бұрын
Cheers. Yeah, I totally agree. I probably do spend a lot of time riding within my limits which, like you say, is pretty sensible. It isn't an attitude that'll get me super fast but it should help me ride bikes for a long time 🤞🤞🤞

Great video - you were slaying those features. As for Nono, you've got to be a good rider if you're wearing a flamingo pink top!

I'am french, living next to the alps and Nono is actually my friend and i think it's cool to see him in your video

Looks like you got so much out of that place being able to ride with some locals, loved the blind following into some of those features!

I was lucky that Nono was such a solid rider. Love being towed but you deffo need to know that the rider in front knows what they are doing 👌

Great video Jamie! What a spot of luck meeting those guys. I know exactly what you mean about riding on your own being intimidating - I can't do it in bike park either! I have to admit though, there is something very addictive about all that air time and speed in the park 🤔
@streetpigeonmtb3 ай бұрын
Definitely. I feel like I'd be getting a lot more air time if I lived close to one of these places!

Awesome edit buddy! These lesser known alps resorts really have something quite special from what you have shown. It’s eye opening to someone who has stuck with the obvious morzine choice but craved more enduro style natural trails. Isn’t it ace that you can just meet a random local family and shred for the day with them, love that about the international MTB community! 26 ain’t dead 😮

That was great fun to watch. I love guiding visitors to my area and it is always better following the locals. I'm sure you hit some jumps that you would have passed on if you had stopped to look! Nice riding.

Jamie, you are in no way an 'average rider'. Not any more, at least. You flow round the corners, you carry plenty of speed, you do gap jumps, and some of that stuff is much steeper than the camera shows. I would class myself in the average category, and i wouldn't go down those trails at the speed you do...maybe not even at all! You're way too hard on yourself! I like that you are cautious though, and know your limits. Your videos give me a really good idea of trails i could ride or not. Keep up the good work.

What part of Scotland was that? I have the same issue riding trails blind on my own. Do you hit a gap jump or go round it? Always good to follow and see what the rider does in front.
@streetpigeonmtb3 ай бұрын
Agree completely. Blind riding is too risky in the Alps. You can find 4 metre gaps on blue trails 😆
@bentbitz13 ай бұрын
A lot of those sections looked pretty steep on camera so I'm guessing that they were really steep in the flesh. The young guy you were following must have had his fear factor disconnected!
@streetpigeonmtb3 ай бұрын
He was a really solid rider. I had loads of confidence in him. Love it when there is someone there to tow you 👌

Is the “average rider” in the the room with us? 😂 Shredding! 😀
@streetpigeonmtb3 ай бұрын
Ha ha. Thanks man. Always a risk with using the word 'average' as it's difficult to work that out. To be specific 'average enduro rider based in the Tweed Valley'... Unfortunately that doesn't work for the algorithm 😆 Cheers dude!
