With that many cars and being a new dad... There is no such thing as doing it all yourself. That would be hard to do with ONE car. Got to have help, but have to make sure your system is tight, and the help is talented/focused. Shit has to be professional and on point. Not a bunch of strangers and distractions.
@bendaves774 ай бұрын
Nobody is going to do it all on their own and have a life that is enjoyable. Billy just needs to take over as boss and hold a meeting. Those who can't step up can leave. If Billy can get his leadership in effect then he will have a great team. I think tanner aka Steve is capable of alot more than what he's being asked to do. Billy and Tanner could make a great team.

@@bendaves77 Tanner (Steve) is still pretty young. He shows a lot of promise, but could still benefit from some more experience when it comes to higher end stuff. Agreed that Billy needs to step up and squash a lot of the foolishness. Needs to be a more professional atmosphere at their level. People touching cars without permission and showing strangers around is not good. Can't have distractions when working on that level cars. Place needs to tighten up.

Ive actually noticed a change in the shops dynamic lately. Having people mistreat ypur stuff and then act upset if they arent doing the exact thing they want. I race motorcycles, both on track and in the canyons of mexico. My eyes and hands are the last to touch it before i put my life on the line. Thats a good attitude to have. Youve been a good friend to the help Billy, so has Tommy. Youve bought cars for people, and let them race and drive your cars. I think people are taking your kindness for weakness. Treating you like a friend only and never a boss. Driving your car without permission, shotty work, and especially bringing people around the camp....... hell no bro, i dont blame you a bit. Its not jist the cars. Thats your families home and operation. Lots of valuable stuff and having strangers around just isnt cool. Thats your mom amd dads place. I 100% agree its time for change. Thank you for letting us know. Alot of channels leave stuff in the dark and its annoying. I appreciate the fact that you care enough for us viewers and friends to shoot us straight both good and bad. Good luck boys, clean house if you have to.

I think most of us are here for the long haul, winners circle, or dead out of the trailer. I'm the company mechanic for the company I work for, the best work gets done when I'm in my shop by myself. People standing around talking, goofing off, trying to help, etc, it drives me crazy. I'm not able to give 100% concentration on what I'm doing when people that shouldn't even be in the damn shop are trying to show me some crap on TikTok. In my opinion, most of the time, help is more hindrance than assistance.

It isn't at this point about Fandom of SRC, it is about the witnessing them fail to field a car, more than 3 cars, miss rounds after earning the right to compete in (3 of those in about a month and a half were final rounds). That does not hurt the Fandom, it hurts their entire program, it cost them money that could/would improve the whole program. Not disappointed in you, I am disappointed for you. Less entertaining shenanigans, more attention to detail will equal more wins. And a better program. So many diamonds, such fast growth, equals so many more issues, and so many more things that can go wrong. And will go wrong. Slow down you're moving too fast, you've got to make the morning last boy, stick around, the country home, smile and take the time to kick a cobblestone boy. Take the time to nut & bolt yer own schidt boys! Not exactly the real lyrics to that song. But you get the idea...Make Jeff proud, and it will make you all proud at the same time.

I know the piece of mind you get when doing it yourself Billy, I would definitely get Uncle Bucko to help whenever he can. I would like to make 1 suggestion though. Whenever you guys loctite a bolt there is always an oily film on them especially new bolts, loctite makes a primer called. Kleen N Prime for bolts. You spray it on the bolt and then let it dry before you put the actual loctite on it, what this does is clean the oil off of the bolt and it is also like an adhesion promotor. I worked from a Crane manufacturer called GROVE for 21 years and we used it on every bolt down to a 1/4”. Once you spray them with the primer before you put the loctite on, they are not backing out. Just a tip I thought I would share.

Billy! You need to hear this. I have seen so many amazing crews lost because of exactly what your taking about. Folks taking advantage of your kindness. I've seen it time and again. The more popular you become the more people will want in on your cheerios. What you have to do is surround yourself with three loyal friends. Choose one guy other than yourself to control the shop, the cars. It will need to be someone you place your full confidence in. If you have an issue, discuss it with him. Let him be the bad guy. Not you. You are the rock. The foundation. The draw if you will. Lots of people will ride your coat tails. No matter what, you need to hold onto that carefree persona. Every successful man has always had a right hand man. Someone who can be the bad guy and it not affect you. This will allow you to keep your team solid.

Just rewatching the opening 30-45 seconds of this video, the cinematic photographic talent, the clarity of the shots, the sequence, the editing it took, it is like watching a great movie opening in a theater on my tiny mobile device. It makes me not want to wait to dive into the experience....the whole film experience is downright amazing and just getting 30 seconds in...if only you all could clone yourselves. Then racing too, and prepping the cars and all the rest would be easier. The program is bigger these days, it will not be as perfect in all aspects so take a breath, then get to work again on what is lacking, but damn, first go back and watch that video opening yourselves again first! A cinematic experience that is as professional as Hollywood itself. Smile, life is good, and you are ALL living the life, a great life, immerse yourselves in it fully!

Dad found out about it from someone at work that knew a salesman at Arena Dodge in Dayton and it had just come in as a trade in and the dealership was gonna put it out for sale the next day for $75 for a running, driving car!! Dad was there at 6am and was the first in line but word spread quick and by time they opened at 8am, there was nearly 40 folks in line. Dad got it, fired up the factory 440 and drove her home. It was In hood shape, ran great, was black 4 door original paint , etc. I’ve always wanted to find another one and put it on bags, build the 440 more than what’s same, and have a bad ass cruiser/sleeper. They are still out there so keep your eyes open for one. They are cool ass cars.

So no need to blame anyone else, literally from the time you wake up to the time you go to sleep, all you have to do is make sure your car's run/nut and bolted, and make content and obviously family stuff. Hey Billy, i just want to say it doesnt matter to me if you win or lose, I will always watch your videos! Its a given that you, tommy, allison and pops want to win but thats definetly not what brings me to your channel. Even if i was the only subscriber left, i would put your videos on repeat to try and keep those view numbers up. I knew old timers over here at Bunker Hill dragstrip that raced for 30yrs and never won a race. We was weekend warriors from 92-00 and my old man never won an event but by god i loved being there every second! Cant wait for the next video! SRC FOREVER BABY! 💪🇺🇲👊

No one is leaving bro... All your fans are ride or die. Win, lose, no show, we all want to watch. Mistakes happen. Just try to limit it as much as you can.
