We decided to clean up this old foundation and try to build a few things, we had no experience going into this so it has been a little rough but so much fun. In part 2 we build a ledge and you might even see a flip trick.

***** Thanks man, we got very lucky on this spot. Some other skaters found it and let us know. We have built a bit more since this video and have plans to do some more concrete work, it's just so hard to carry those 60lb bags all the way into the spot.

We put coping on the flat ledge but for the small bank we wanted to keep it as simple as possible because we have never done any concrete work before. It was more meant for stalls so coping wasn't needed.

For that gap at around 4:16 you should make a kicker to kicker gap that lead to a quarter pipe so you could come back and hit the gap the other way

It's just a small bank for stalls, this was the first concrete ramp we ever built so we started small.

Finding the location is usually the hardest part. Google maps is great for looking around your city fast and you can usually see stuff you never would in person.

Tyler Grogg We spent about $25 for the cement. Our bank was 3' wide by 1.5' tall. We used 5 bags and you can see we came up a bit short. Hopefully that helps you out.

Part of a roadway I think, Even if they didn't tear it down to build the new road it would be about 10 feet away from a very busy road and they cut down most of the trees so it's totally visible to anyone walking by on the sidewalk

sam mehler Yea we aren't very good, We just started skating and wanted a place we could go and hang out judgement free and learn a few basic tricks. I never intended for this video to get a bunch of views, I just made it so me and my friends can watch it back when we're old and broken.
