Dover Air Force Base in Delaware now has an enormous restricted air space around it. Huge C-17’s are taking off and landing 24/7 as we deliver arms to Poland to truck into Ukraine. I live about 120 miles North of there. I haven’t seen this much activity since Gulf War I, when all the military reservists in my agency were called up on active duty back in 1990 under George Bush 41. That was before e-mail and texting when you were notified by mail that your unit had been called up. One of the employees from my agency was one of the very few American soldiers killed in Gulf War I clearing mines after the Iraqis unconditionally surrendered. 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

Changes... well I live just North of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Since the operation began I meet many people who see it as a real possiblity that we may become victims of nuclear war. It's always in the back of our minds. I'm ex navy. I thought such years were behind us. I was a baby during the Cuban Missile crissis. This seems worse in my opinion. God bless and let us hope peace and goodwill prevail over rash actions.

It was evident (that the nuclear war becomes possible) hen NATO began nearing our boarders, with Ukraine as the last straw. Right now, it's the last, brutal but inevitable, answer of Russia. For almost 14 years, when NATO made an offer to Ukraine to join its ranks, nobody listened to Putin who asked not to do this and warned about the consequences. If you are an ex-navy and interested in politics, you should have noticed this long ago.

Interesting video. I couldn’t help but notice how clean the streets look, and no homeless camps like here in LA. Prayers for both the Russians and Ukrainians. We’re all just regular people trying to get on with our lives but so horribly disrupted by the one per cent that profit from war. I just wish all the soldiers in the world would just lay down their weapons and tell the war makers “we’re not doing this anymore, we’re not buying it.” Maybe, someday. Interesting to see. A lot differs from Sweden. Now I do not know how many people there are usually on those streets before, so you can not compare. But the first thing that struck me is how fast the cars drive in the city. Here it is a maximum of 45 km / h, often lower. Another thing is that people go and sweep the streets manually. Here in Sweden, it is a special machine that drives around that looks like a cross between a tractor and a garbage truck. Then another that you let people cross the train tracks. It never happens in Sweden, probably a bridge high above the electrical wires or a subway under the tracks. Thanks, interesting to see.
@WhiteBearRU
@WhiteBearRU 2 жыл бұрын
60km/h is norm. And some BIG WIDE streets have 80km/h limit. And you will pay if you more then 20km/h faster then limit only. So some can go as fast as 79km/h were limit is 60km/h and so on.

Funny to see that the capital of the Russian empire uses the main language of the Western world as second language, e.g. in the metro. The other way around it isn't like that.

It seems that the invading and murderous Russia is not at war. Seeing these images and the images of devastated, destroyed and threatened Ukraine only increases my hatred towards the Russians. The free peoples and Ukraine will make Russia pay for its crimes. We will win this war, the oppressors have always lost. Go Ukraine.

Put your emotions aside please and start thinking. Or did you say this also about america and NATO countries when they attacked jugoslavia Libia Syria Irak for example. Start thinking. Start searching for facts. Stop watching television media and shitty KZbin videos. Use your brain please, if possible

I've noticed there aren't too many trees there and in St Petersburg. Things aren't looking good for world peace lately. Seems worse everyday. I sympathetic to the Russian populace but I also support sanctions and even more tightening of such. Tragic but we all understand the news. Life is more important than a burger or a car part. God willing this will pass and we will have open borders again and not permanently revert to Soviet style isolation.

I wish you supported sanctions against the US when they were bombing Serbia, then Libya, then Iraq, Afghanistan, then Syria - killing about 10 million people over the past 20 years. But this is good, this is ok. This is not war crime. You wouldn't even dare to call it war crimes. Funny, yes? }}

And what about all the murdered people in Ukraine and their family's. Russia will always be a murderous threat on the planet.
