One thing is for certain to factor is in the hellcat has a big advantage on shifting speed. The vette has some pauses in between shifts

It would be the shifts needed to be faster....it pull a little and then shift and you'd see the cut in acceleration just enough for the hellcat to stay with but then the vette would start to pull again

That was quite disappointing to watch. For the amount of times people would say a 1khp+ hellcat would pull on anything and give it bus lengths, this did not happen. I understand that the vette is 1k pounds less and its aerodynamic, but the same people saying that, weren't yall the same ones that would say a hellcat would walk a vette all day everyday?? I guess a stock duramax swapped car can keep up with a stock hellcat after with 300hp less.
