So we have found an amazing deal on what seems to be a really great truck. So we gathered the crew and headed out to check it out and see it it will run. This truck has been abandoned and left sitting in the weeds for over two years and you will never guess what we found inside. If we can get this truck running and driving, this will be our next major build and you will be here for the entire process.
This 1988 Chevy C 1500 OBS C/K truck what is a wild paint job, and the engine is not from the factory. We open it up, dig through all the details, and make a decision on whether we should purchase it or not. Do you think it's a good deal? Would you buy if you had the opportunity? Yep that’s the same truck. Unfortunately we hired some unqualified people to do most of the work and got burned. That’s why he got it at such a low price. Glad to see he’s redoing it right.

I just wanna add something nobody talks about, when you lower a truck not ment to be as low as a car the bottom control arms go beyond parallel this makes the truck a shit ride I’ve done it many times the best thing to do is change the frame that has the geometry to ride at that height like a roadster chassis or equivalent

"Full of rust"... being from Ohio, that is all surface rust. Cab corners, rockers and rear wheel well are non existent after 5 years. If an obs has a frame that isnt cracked is getting harder to find
