I test rode both the bikes 3-4 times and overall I decided to get the Interceptor as it suits my needs... Plus that foot peg issue doesn't exist for me because of my height I guess (182 cms) ...I do plan to take it for occasional off-roads once in a while. Nicely done Strell.... Valid points.

@@nimalshayas4457 Hi there...it's been over an year now with the Interceptor...I took it to Ladakh as well last year and the experience was awesome. I had plans to go for long rides hence GT was not a suitable option for me. If you plan on doing just weekend rides then yes you can go for the GT but if you plan to hit the highways once in a while and ride for long durations then Interceptor has to be the one. Apart from the comfort part Interceptor also has a larger fuel tank which makes it more suitable for long rides when compared with the GT.

Wait for 650 himalayan. That's the most comfortable of all REs considering your riding style. The 650s are well engineered future bikes of REs and now dont go back to old REs unless you are a hardcore old school enfield fan.

ബ്രോ, എന്റെ interceptor ഏതാണ്ട് 1600 kms ആയി. long ride പോകാണമെന്നാഗ്രഹമുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ കടുത്ത ചൂടിൽ വേണ്ടെന്നു വെച്ചു. ബൈക്കിൽ വലിയ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളൊന്നും ഇതുവരെയും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. front and rear ഭാഗത്തു നിന്നും ഒരു ടെക് ടെക് ശബ്ദം കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ കേൾക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അതു ചിലപ്പോൾ floating disc/ caliper ആയത് കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കാം എന്നു കരുതുന്നു. mileage 20-25 KM/L കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്. സ്പീഡ് 100 KM/hr ആവുമ്പോഴേക്കും ഭയങ്കരമായ windblast അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്. headlight ഒരു yellowish beam ആയത് കൊണ്ട് phillips ന്റെ crystal vision bulb മാറ്റികൊടുത്തു. ഇപ്പോൾ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ വെട്ടം കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്....
