When God give them power to perform miracle, they allow themselves to be worshipped even when they are dead, and people still worship then and hence become a deity. Remember, God does not take His gift from you even when you no longer follow His ways. That's why we have to be careful in these last days. Some pastors or prophects are still performing wonders, but God has left them. If you go to them, God will be angry with you, too. Some of them are demons. People still worship them as gods.
