I thought that part was slowing it down, glad they got rid of him for his "son" He was good, but I found his parts slowed everything down. I usually don't like new characters part way through but His "son" was much better than I gave him credit for, so was a nice replacement

This was filmed in front of a live studio audience, it isn’t canned laughter. If you don’t think it’s funny that’s fair enough (you might be American, in which case I’m not surprised) but plenty of people do enjoy it.
