I am not satisfied your definition of drought escape according to you plant not grow during stress condition drought that is called escape drought but here escape is part of avoidance then how is it possible mem pls explain ans in comments and my clear my confusion pls mem

You are getting confused here . The thing that I am telling in the video is stress resistant mechanisms in which plant can avoid the stress situation ( avoidance ) either by adaptation or by escape ( in which plant complete their life cycle before arrival of stress ) . For ex - how you will avoid a problemmatic situation , either you will face it ( adaptation ) or you will run ( escape ) . In the same way plants can avoid the stress. But the terms that you are talking about are taught in the case of drought stress in which they have classified the plants separately into 3 categories - 1) Drought escapers ( false xerophytes ) which complete their life cycle before arrival of drought. 2) Drought avoiders or sacculant plants - store water in roots ,stem or leaves. 3) Drought resistant or true xerophytes Hope it is clear.
