In my experience Elyrion is incredibly overpowered, as ultra-high elo players use them. Their economy is quite powerful thanks to forest magic, while trade is much harder to get for other tribes. Usually when they beat me they are making twice the number of stars a turn...

I think the new update adds a much bigger luck factor which ruins games. Kickoo water spawn, fantastic. Kickoo land spawn, terrible. It just feels like the spawn is so much dependant on if u get a water spawn or not with ur capital

Kickoo is guaranteed at least one water tile in their spawn

This Elyrion player played wrong tactic. He should make many catapults and place them near to the border. If he had vision there, he would be untouchable (I play this tactic, it works on Archipelago only, and I win every single game). Further he should make dragons and then victory is in Elyrion's hands
