I’ll explain that. Detroit rappers only went 2 ways, we either was reaching and competing with the industry , Malik , Money, Blade and Blade being the best one, or we competed with each other-thing is when we do reach we do act out the box to other Detroiters, “we don’t act Detroit “ like they say about Big Sean. He’s an intellect rapper, so when you’re somewhat the smartest in the room, they all feel some type of way. What he showed was another way instead of the normal “let’s clique up cause we all from 7 mile “type of deal. That’s why the Lordz worked, they was a clique but they were from different areas . That’s what made team east last- and how DBCO sound fall off, too much of the same. Same with Rock Bottom, they all was aiming at the Big Herk look, but Bathgate was the one who left because clue seen his potential over Herks.
