Stretch Vs. Tie On Waist Beads

Bella Body Beads offers both stretch and tie-on waist beads. In this video, I am describing the difference.
Flexible Bella Beads
The original Bella Body Beads are made with an extra sturdy elastic cord. Beads don't pop when your stomach expands they simply roll-up. Strands also have nickel-free twist clasps for easy removal.
Tie On Waist Beads
Tie-on waist beads are traditional African waist beads that cannot be removed once they are tied. Beads are made with premium Czech Beads and can be worn at all times. The cord is made of hemp and the strand does not have a clasp.

I had mines on for a few years , never take them off, please when measuring your waist, do not hold your stomach in, relax and measure, I make mines on a string , if you gain weight it will roll up lol that’s my proof that I gained weight lol, great video!

You want to measure while relaxed and Don’t suck in your stomach. For me this is hard to do because I do it subconsciously LOL. If you gain weight they will roll up. If you lose weight they will drop down. 🔮

Thank you so much for saying this. I am new to waist beads and I subconsciously hold my stomach in and didn't know if I sure measure my stomach relaxed or the way I hold it. This was super helpful!

I make these myself I use .8 stretch cord...but it really depends on the bead size but I don't use anything less than .8

The cords I've found are not stretchy enough. What brand & size can I get that has the flexibility you speak of? Appreciate.

What cords are you using? Are you using elastic floss? Are you dbl it up? Also have you tried the Powercord brand Stectchy Bead "FLOSS" not ? They have on the package how many lbs of weight each type can withstand, and they snap back without easily stretching out. Also when using thread for the tie on type, you should go with a mercerized cotton thread (it swells when wet so it doesn't weaken and break easily. Depending on your bead size you may have double, triple, etc. your thread strands when beading for added durability. I hope that this helps.

I love and respect the craft., everything she said and described sound exactly how I describe the beads, and I've never seen this video of her.💜. I questioned myself on a couple of things and she confirmed I have no error😘💜💜💜. 3 is my number tie off's as well, and we tie off slightly different. Thank you💜 for confirmation. It's just different strokes for different folks. I have used a few different threads, the stretch one I have now is "Stretch Magic" .5mm. So far so good. Its durable. I've also used a thicker and stretchy thread that is also extremely durable but you have be sure that your smaller beads can fit. I had to wiggle them on a bit. That thread is 0.5 Elastic Cord by Bead Landing💜💜💜

Is it okay to workout with your beads on while wearing a fitness belt or waist trainer?

It’s 50/50 with waist trainers. It’s usually ok if your mindful and the beads are not snagged on the waist trainer. It will also depend on where your beads are sitting.

They might have been tied to tight. Next time before you tie then try several normal positions.
