I love, love, love your beautiful card and layout. Such a gorgeous stamp set you have used. I just love how you made use of the stamp set to create to help create the clusters for your beautiful layout. I think the subtle mixed media is a perfect touch. I am always scared of mixed media. When I hear the words mixed media I start shaking in my boots. It is not a technique I feel comfortable with. Thank you so very much for your wonderful tutorial. Stunning layout, Gwen. The stitchng and mixed media (plus your later touches) are really beautiful! You are right to say we need to stretch our expensive cardmaking products on layouts. Pinkfresh Studio’s products are particularly versatile. I use my flower and leaf dies a fair amount on layouts but I certainly have more products to stretch. Thanks for the good ideas. I hope the Taylor Swift concert was everything you thought it would be. The photo shows the excitement that you and your daughter must have felt . Jeannine

Thanks so much Jeannine... I want to do more projects like this too, I really enjoyed the process and it feels really good to just get a little more out of those supplies. Dies are another really good example of this, flower and leaf dies are such a good buy when you can use them over so many projects. Taylor Swift was nothing short of amazing, we had the time of our lives.. it's was so so good. Definitely an experience that we both will cherish forever 🥰

@@CreatedByGwen I think for us in Canada, our Winters feel like they last forever and because Summer is my favourite Season it feels like it is shorter. We've had a strange Winter this year. Bitterly cold in January, Spring like on and off in February and then it was back to the deep freeze yesterday. Tomorrow it's supposed to warm up to possibly 14 degrees. C. I am so ready to ditch the bulky coats. (-:
