Dang i wish i saw this video today! Literally had the 3rd example as a patient today in PACU..... she could bend her knee well but her foot was bandaged in place and fixed... i stuffed everything i could find behind the IR to get my IR to match her foot but there was still OID 😢 i however gave some more SID.... Ugh they werent textbook but at least i wasnt called to go redo the exam 😅 Great stuff Megan! Thanks!

This is actually not from a textbook! I think our positioning textbooks lack information on exams like this one. This was a lab I did with my students to help them with a stretcher foot exam on a patient who isn't able to move or has limited mobility.

@@meaghanpiretti7340 I 100% agree , there have been so many times where I've had to think outside the box to obtain images which are never demonstrated in the older positioning books. Do you have any videos on trauma imaging of the elbow . Keep up the amazing work Meaghan!!!

@@mukaiten603 I don't have any on elbows yet. Elbow trauma is a tricky exam that requires a lot of critical thinking. I will add that to my list for future lessons! Thanks for the compliment!
