this is one of the few songs that to me, feels somehow both nostalgic and fresh/new at the same time. it's like walking down the sidewalks of a suburban neighborhood in the middle of june, headed towards your friend’s house to sit with him and chat for a few hours as you eat tangerines, and you’re using the music to distract yourself from bad memories, and finally being able to just let it go for a minute, and instead think of nice, happy things... so refreshing. it's always nice to be introduced to songs like these.
