This song reminds me of my first long term relationship in my 20s. I had trauma bonded with a girl and it turned pretty toxic fast, I didn't know myself at all then. I'm 31 now. How the song slowly deconstructs at the end into a soft melody really hits me hard. I get so nostalgic about every part of my life then, a lot has changed, but it brings me to tears that no matter how much we struggled together, we had each other when things were the hardest.

I'll never forget seeing them at Summer Meltdown in like 2013 or 14? not sure which year. I had no idea who they were but everybody I was camped with was so excited to see them on Saturday night. Saturday was theme night so everybody was dressed up in costumes. I've never seen so many beautiful people in my life. Sorry for the nostalgia trip but damn this music just really brings back those late night summer memories from years ago.
