Thank you sir. I’ve always wondered about those pliers and now must find a set of my own. By the way, your English is just fine and we appreciate the effort you put into your videos.

I purchased the stitching pliers you recommended after watching this video. The pliers have made punching through 3 to 4 layers of leather easy and perfect on both sides as you said they would do. Thank you for the suggestion. Your videos are great,,,,keep the coming!!!

Thanks for this video! I am working to improve the looks of the backside when punching holes/stitching on my projects, which mostly are wallets and so both sides matter to look neat. A question: what's the pitch of the pliers you are using? 4mm/5mm? It would be great if you post another video with your stitching technique. Stay safe!

Thanks Thomas. Can you please do a video on different types and uses of leather. I have bought few times on line but I feel its not a good leather for a wallet, its more fabric than a leather. The edges come out horrible.
@tomazrutar35164 жыл бұрын
For wallets just buy top grain ( fiore pieno if you are buying in Italy) veg tan, not cheap but you will get the best results
@strhandmade4 жыл бұрын
Be sure you are using vegetable tanned leather, only veg tan you can make smooth edges. For sure price affects quality, my favorite veg tan is Buttero, Walpier tannery, Italy. Was glad to find it few years ago.

Thanks for video! Those pliers looks pretty useful and comfortable) Do you use 1 mm thread everywhere even in small wallet? And one more question - do you have any video about edges? About procesing, covers for chrome tanned leather?
@strhandmade4 жыл бұрын
Yes, for all my crafts i use 1mm thread (except watch straps, 0,6mm), it looks cool for me :) Not yet, in future definitely will do. I do not work with chrome tan, so cant say something about that. Just know that edge polishing is impossible with chrome tanned leather it only works with veg tan
