I first heard this hymn this year at our Maunday Service. The title of the music so fits, in English it is: O my Jesus, I must die. Yes, I must die, but the dear Lord Jesus died in my place, He died because of my sin. Now I must die to my sin.

Hallelujah. Amen. Yes it were our sins, His saints’ sins whom Lord came to die for, that nailed Him to the tree ! Thus, how can we ever sin again after we are truly saved by Him, our Saviour, His precious blood and His perfect atonement at the cross for our sins! Hallelujah. Holy Spirit help and teach and guide us not to sin against Lord but to confess and repent and to give honour to Him for every deed we do, every thought we bear and every word we say! Hallelujah. Amen.
