I am especially struck by how Bishop Strickland always speaks the truth in charity. He is always charitable but never compromises the truth and is not afraid of honesty. I wish Fr. Altman would take some much-needed lessons from the good bishop's approach to discussing controversy in the Church. I believe Bishop Strickland is the St. Athanasius of the US! May the Holy Spirit continue to guide him, and may the holy angels protect him!

My own instinct is that bergoglio needs to be robustly opposed and fought. bergoglio needs to be removed, it is that simple. he is the problem, not Bishop Strickland. The conversation needs to move on to how to evict bergoglio from the Vatican

What is sad is that your fellow bishops aren't backing you and they are operating their own dioceses in a very superficial manner. They ALL need many prayers🙏 . I actually pray for all of these "modernists" clerics, including the pope, to go to sleep and have troubling dreams initiated by the Holy Ghost, so they will wake up the next day and get back into line with the truth.

God bless Bishop Strickland! He is such a beautiful shepherd & loved by millions of us all across the globe. It would be a HUGE mistake for Pope Francis if he follows thru on asking Bishop Strickland to resign. It could be a move that ends his papacy, in my humble opinion. It would ignite a civil war within the church. Pope Francis & the horrible people who he has surrounded himself with have allowed the smoke of satan into his papacy & we as the laity are already angry, justifiably, by the suspension of the TLM Mass, his decimation of many of our cloistered convents & just the overall direction he is taking our church. It’s a tinderbox & him taking Bishop Strickland out would be equivalent to him throwing a match onto the tinder. It would not be good. If Bishop Strickland had done something wrong, Jew would understand. But he has done NOTHING wrong other than boldly, courageously preaching the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
