I remember coming here when I was younger with my family and my older brothers friend. It was amazing and the food was delicious, San Pedro will always have a special place in my heart just because of the shrimp tray and the big garlic bread, we went on a weekend and it was PACKED with people in there. I always hated going to crowded areas but something about this place was different, and seeing all the live crabs they had in water tanks was awesome!

So happy to see this in my subs feed. Mikey, our family would try to meet yearly at San Pedro "Ports 'O Call" and get the shrimp trays among other things. One of my favorites was the fried tilapia. This was fun to watch. Waaaayyy back in the day (late 60's, early 70's) we went to the Market Restaurant(?) a couple of times a year. Food was ALWAYS excellent. Dining Harborside (channel-side if it matters) we could hear the engines of the ships as they motored along. My Dad's favorite and oft-told story was of him Skippering a Tanker from a mono-buoy near Long Beach to a specialized off-loading facility using that channel, and he could hear the Restaurant's loudspeaker naming his ship and how it was returning from foreign and exotic ports-of-call (name of restaurant?) after many adventures. He would say, "In Long Beach?"
