Compare the ingredients in the same menu items at both YS McDonalds and UK McDonald. Even the fries in American Mcds have more ingredients than we do here in the UK. Here it’s just potatoes & oil before the salt, thank goodness.

The pies in the US were, once upon a time, deep fried like this peach pie was. Also, there were cherry pies back in the day. Which were pretty fine. They quit frying the pies due to the fuss over calories and health. Because fast food is all about health.

American fast food is so bad that the big names don't really have to try, Foreign countries cuisine is so much better than American that the fast food outlets have to pull out all the stops to attract customers, In NZ none of the Franchises are much better than the American ones KFC is probably the worse, there is plenty of local burger joints that leave McDonalds in the dust.
