This game is awesome! It’s harder to play but honestly with it being harder I get more enjoyment out of it. Especially when you get a 1v1 kill . Just wish I could identify enemy’s and teammates better .

2:43 Very wrong. They do use stamina, Infact, they use MORE stamina. A strategy to beating small shield opponents or chamber focused opponents is to try and use parries when they are chambering. Risky since they can chamber feint. But a strategy no less. It’s very effective against rapier users. Since The rapier has awful stamina defense. And the chamber uses the weapons stamina value, not the shields.

The Advantages of playing this game in chivalry 2 is you will regret about holding parry. It Can manage of stamina so it doesnt run out quickly

I spotted a few mistakes in your video. Overall you explain all the important aspects of the game but here are some mistakes you made: - Chambers don't cost stamina, this is actually very wrong, on the contrary chambers costs more stamina than parry. You see it on duels that people who keeps chambering often loose the stamina fight - Morphs: you say that you can morph a side to an overhead, this is also wrong. You can only morph stabs into side attacks (slash, overhead, underhand) or the opposite side attacks into stabs. You can also morphs attacks into kicks but can't do the opposite It'd be great if you could edit your video so fake information don't get too spread out. Aside from those 2 points I think you made a good job explaining what is available in the game in terms of gameplay, so thanks again for the video. Hopefully it'll help people enjoy Mordhau and they'll stick to it

chambers are circumstantially more expensive than parries. if the opponent feints and you chamber, he'll be parry or more likely morph into a parry from his follow up swing. this costs them a lot of stam. Overall you'll gain more stam relative to your opponent if you correctly predict a feint and chamber. Even moreso than just hard reading the feint, unless he goes for a dumb feint spasm in your face.

So my thoughts so far as a console player. Chiv 2 looks better and probably feels better too but this game has a charm factor to it, the customization is really good and the role playing is great. If you like chiv 2 this is a little different but im starting to like it where as at first i just really thought chiv was way better. What i would say is if you like games where there is role playing and really unique looking characters give this a shot.

@spencersecrest6001 this part is true but I feel a patch will fix that. The no people in lobby's I'm not finding to be true I was in full lobbies yesterday although it started off slow because it released at different times everywhere from what understand atleast. Games fun give it a shot if you like chiv 2 but it does need a patch right now because the freezing thing is real.

@jordanmarazzi3548 with a few patches I think it will improve alot but chivalry 2 is probably better still if you ask me but this game is also fun it's very rewarding earning coins per match to customize your classes, I realise you can do this in chiv 2 but there's way more options in mordhau.

the game is awsome, i now just need to find a way to stop feint spammers, because let's be honest, closest server from me is 60 ms... i cant predict every parry with less than a week of expirience, and i cant get expirience playing if all i can do is just get domed by lvl 200s

I would say if you care about dueling more go with Mord as it has a higher and more rewarding skill ceiling. If you like team objective game modes and more forgiving gameplay go with chiv

The high skill drags in this game aren't meant to go around parries as much, that was intentional (so you dont get 360 cucumber wessex anal probe swing every fight) instead its more about baiting the opponent into thinking youre performing an accel and forcing an early parry. You can do absolutely insane stuff with these baits, the skill ceiling has never been reached. if comp was still active we'd be discovering new tech every month.

Awful so far. The swing manipulation is odd to me, hitting overheads takes practice. My Chiv muscle memory is net zero gain so far. Riposte timing is way different than Chiv.

I felt the same untill I gave it a hour or so and it got better it just takes some getting used to. I'm not great at it right now but its got a certain charm for sure. I think chivalry 2 is better for graphics and probably controls and the games feel much more epic but there's something about the role playing here and character customization that is quiet charming and making me continue to play 😊

lol I don't blame you. I played Mord since around launch and have a little under 1k hours on it, and honestly chiv 2 is just an overall better game and WAY less janky and overall has more pvp content (PVE mode is a joke in mord lol)
