Brilliant film, we Irish had bought a few Landsverk tanks in the mid to late 1930's, more as a training and demonstration equipment than seriously to set up an armoured force. Fascinating to see the Swedish ideas for employment of their armour.

Bilarna drar tyska PAK-36 kanoner, någon som vet om svenska armén använde dem eller hur de kom över kanonerna?

Ja, Pak 36 fanns i svenska armén under beteckningen 3,7 cm pansarvärnskanon m/39 (ej att förväxla med 3,7 cm pvkan m/38 som var en Boforspjäs). Osäker på exakt när de köptes in och hur men det fanns ju också ett antal 10,5 cm LeFH 18 i armén som man lyckades köpa 1939-1942 i utbyte mot att man tillät järnvägstransporter genom Sverige. Kan vara något liknande med Pak 36:orna.

Nothing to translate really. It's standard tactics to take terrain. Artillery softens up the enemy defense, infantry secures the breach for the armoured vehicles to break through. Works more or less exactly the same in every army.

Sweden would have been a tough nut to crack for Germany. Much tougher than Norway, and probably toughest of the smaller European nations that they conquered.

Eh more than norway maybe but we had huge downcuts of the army in the late twenties that we hadnt replaced and A LOT of materiel was sent too finland too aid in the winter war a third of our airforce (12 planes yes we had that few) over 53 million rifle rounds 140 artilery pieces a further 100 anti air cannons we gave them 230 million in funds wich was more than half of finlands budget we would have absolutly steamrolled by the wehrmacht
