I stayed in Cabo for seven months and ordered a carbon fibre skim board from Lurio skimboards just to skim at lovers

Ive never skimboarded so please forgive my ignorance.. is it a must to jump on mongo instead of front foot first? Definitely looks like a great time!

Yes, actually that is the most stable and preferred way to get on the board. Front foot first is used by some pro skimboarders but for the most part would spell disaster for most people learning
