Strike the Gong for Financial Literacy 2024

HKEX joined the Investor and Financial Education Council, CFA Institute and CFA Society Hong Kong to #StriketheGong for financial literacy in support of #WorldInvestorWeek on 8 October, 2024. HKEX Chairman Carlson Tong and Securities and Futures Commission Chairman Tim Lui kicked off the event with speeches on the importance of investor resilience to the unpredictable nature of financial markets, followed by a discussion between HKEX’s Sally Kwok, SFC’s Christina Choi and the Hong Kong REITS Association’s George Hongchoy on market connectivity and expanding investment choices for retail investors.
