@@AnimeCommander1 Thank *you* for improving my experience with this season! The official subs aren't bad, but yours seem a bit more refined. Plus, it really annoys me when names are misspelled and terms are mistranslated. Yeah, I have to admit, this was never my favorite Minna song. But now, with that scene in my head, wow. It worked so well! It added a sense of tragedy to the whole thing. I was actually terrified Minna was going to die. Strike Witches has come such a long way! It's really matured in the past decade, and Road to Berlin is an excellent example of that. I, too, look forward to the last episodes. At this point it may already be my favorite show ever, so I can't wait to see what it has in store for the grand finale.

@@TirOrah I am really glad to hear that. The others were happy to see your comment on this video. We had actually shared this video the day the episode came out because we had to look over it and the translation for it, then I saw your comment after looking back at it once our version was released. We try to release our version as soon as possible, but I do spend my evening making sure the translation is correct. The official subs aren't bad, but it could be very much improved with a few corrections here and there. Luckily, all of us on the project are big Strike Witches fans, so it has worked out so far. We hope to continue to provide you all the rest of Road to Berlin! Let's retake Berlin!

Respectfully, I feel as though I must disagree; while this song is undeniably lovely, "Lili Marleen" has the pedigree and the temporal relevance; it came out in 1937 (having originally been published as a poem in 1915), and both sides of the war sang it; particularly in the North Africa Campaign (the so-called "War without Hate"), and even to this day is covered every so often.

@@TallboyDave I can't say I'm worried about that. It's all good info, but it's not relevant to how the song sounds. The song in this video sounds nicer, and suits Minna better. Lili Marleen is fine, and it's famous, but it doesn't sound as good.

@@TallboyDave Agree. Much more historically significant and fitting for the scene. To me it's like replacing Katyusha with the theme song from Tetris in Girls und Panzer. I find it hard to believe Lili Marleen (the original) wasn't out of copyright.
