Most definitely pioneers of the rap game. Really don't get the credit they deserve. Run DMC were the first to crossover to MTV, only because of working with Aero Smith. The Fat Boys crossed over with their own style & talent. They were outselling other hip hop artist, made a lot of tv appearances, cameo appearances on tv shows, & were in movies. They were very likable. What most people get about, people joking about their weight, they stayed humble & flipped it, using it to their advantage. Much love & respect to them for that. & their weight didn't stop the girls from jocking them either. Blair Underwood said when the movie Krush Grove was being made, the Fat Boys trailer stayed population with girls. They had more women jocking them then he, Run DMC, LL COOL J, Kurtis Blow, etc.
