Yea, he can't play electric, at all. Can't figure out why, he's superb on the acoustic. I know he played it his whole career and the electric is newer but you'd think some of it would transfer to the electric! He should just get a superstrat, practice with it a lot.

@@stickjackal4867 there's almost a 0% chance of any professional musician taking psychedelics and performing to crowds of people. That pretty much ended with the acid tests when nothing was expected of the Dead except to make noise on their instruments. Lord knows it's hard to even pack a bowl while you're tripping, much less have 50,000 people staring at you

@@timharper4246 u would be surprised. Oteil has said on multiple accessions that he sometimes doses before shows with dead and co. Not every night of course, but once or twice a tour. Same with cheese. Kyle, Keith, and even Travis will take a dose every once in a while, but these are professionals so they are able to handle themselves without being completely obvious and immature about it. If anything they dip their feet every once in a while, they are not swimming in it. Just a little stimulation to contribute some creativity to the mix. One of many ways they keep it fresh and spontaneous. I know you don’t want to believe this actually happens, but it def does, especially during festival season. And btw, packing bow isn’t that tough while flyin, just need to snap out of it and focus for a min.
