You have mentioned that wound or thicker steel strings, need greater compensation. But why? I have assumed that because these strings are less flexible. They start the pivot of their vibration, a little distance away from the saddle break area? What is your take?

Hey Eric . I've been procrastinating over the bridge plate , maple , spruce or rosewood . Read so much I'm confused . Help 😂.......

Locateding the bridge distance from the nut doesn't seem to difficult. How do I center the bridge to the centerline of the neck and square the bridge?

My father was a piano tuner. Pianos are generally *not* tuned evenly across the scale.

Hitachi became Metabo HPT in the US, Metabo in Europe, and Hikoki elsewhere.

Instructors shouldn’t be aloud to use the words this, that, there, and center without the instructor verifying what the instructor is talking about. This video starts out fairly simple but all the extra conversation makes things difficult to stay on task.

No Hitachi is still Hitachi.

Hi, thanks for the video. You need to recheck your compensation theory because you are completely wrong 😂 For example, a piano is tuned to equal temperament exactly same as the guitar. It has nothing to do with frets or string bending.
