I like the lovely knots string. Ive been using 1mm, but thought about trying out 2mm. I usually measure my strings out to 27" which comes out to roughly 8/9 fingers. I do need to try some new bearings though. Ive had some strings actually pull through the bearing if i make the knot too tight.

Ive noticed that slipknots hold the string from freespining within the tama as well, this video is amazing

Just drilled my tama string hole slightly bigger and it's insane the difference in how free the objects feel despite them being strung together.

Great Video, Dude! I am currently trying out different strings, and bought a type of bearing I've never seen used in Kendama. I'm gonna start focusing on the distance between tama and ken during juggles and stuff from now on.
