Hi Mark. I'm from Malaysia and I really love your method of shooting. By using your method, my 70 metres shoot are more predictable and even the misses are in fact very near misses. I can use this method of shooting for my barebows and trad bows. Thanks man and god bless.

Hello from South of Malaysia! I actually tried it this evening and after looking at this video, it makes sense why I managed to get my first ever 10 points! Thank you for the explanation! *It's COVID-19 movement restriction order in my country and I just bought a recurve bow -and due to restrictions of travel and budget (food supply is top priority now!) I decided to just do barebow - and learn on my own until my coach can travel back to this district!! Please keep it coming, really appreciate it!

Thanks so much for the videos! I started shooting about 4 months ago. I live in tahoe so i am lucky i can shoot after work every day. Im trying all kinds of aiming methods. Gonna try this out today. I LOVE shooting my recurve. Im addicted 😂

I've been using this for nearly a DECADE hunting (before that I was shooting "traditional" just like everyone else) Since I started using this method I'VE HIT EVERY SINGLE DEER I SHOT AT :-O Not kidding. BEST LONG-DISTANCE SHOT: 15 ft up at a 6 pt buck (all I EVER shoot) at 36m, GOT him quartering away just under the rib cage with my DARTON MAGNUM (the little 44 inch/60# beauty you see me shoot GREAT at the range and KISS a LOT) HERE's WHAT WILL SURPRISE YOU: YOU CAN SET YOUR GAP WITHOUT LOOKING AT YOUR HAND - YOU NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE DEER :-O !!!! I think I used only two days the finger tab, then swap to gloves and using the system you are explaining since then. I can shoot any of the bows from my club's colleagues with the same accuracy as with mine.

TRUE SKILL in Archery simply CAN'T mean "the ONLY bow I CAN shoot is a COMPOUND BOW" IMAGINE you could only hit a TENNIS BALL with ONE SPECIFIC brand of RACQUET... ... it sounds SILLY, right? IMAGINE you could only hit a BASEBALL with an ALUMINUM bat... ... MORE stupidity, right? IMAGINE you could ONLY cast ONE kind of FISHING ROD... IMAGINE you could ONLY swim ONE kind of SWIMMING STROKE... HERE'S the BEST ANALOGY I CAN OFFER: IMAGINE you could only ride ONE kind of BIKE - one with TRAINING WHEELS... ... COULD you REALLY brag "I know HOW TO RIDE A BIKE" ??? OF COURSE NOT. Greetings Albert & welcome to VOGTLAND OUTDOORS! SHORT ANSWER: NOT REALLY. What I've discovered is that overall people's finger-width DON'T vary enough to "dramatically" change the gaps used at different distances. Yes, fingers DO vary from person to person, but only about 1 to 2mm over a width of 15 to 20mm - that's less than 10%. Perfectly useable. You'll be "calibrating" YIUR fingers to YOUR bow and YOUR arrow

Eric, SHORT ANSWER: Nope - not for VERY SHORT distances like 5m to 20m; the arrow is slightly tipped UP from perpendicular, because with STRINGWALKING creating a GAP between the NOCKING POINT of the arrow and the DRAWING POINT of the index finger THIS simple adjustment results in a BALANCED shot as the arrow shoots out of the bow! I shoot the same boat that you have their mind is in a 50lb I use it for hunting and shooting a 700 grain arrow with this system work right now I'm using a pendulum sight

I THINK you composed your reply using your phone's speech-to-text... but it didn't work too well ;-) - YOU said "boat"... but I THINK you meant "BOW" - right ? - YOU said "their mind is in a" ... but I THINK you meant "MARTIN SABER" - right ? I LOVE this bow, even though it is decidedly HEAVY for a "recurve" bow. MAYBE you knew this, but this Martin Saber ACTUALLY started off life as a COMPOUND BOW - THAT'S why the riser LOOKS the way it does :-O. THEN Martin simply added a little PLASTIC WEDGE to the limb surfaces and *VOILA* - you get a recurve bow ! THEN Martin decided to OUTSOURCE their castings, and they started coming back FILLED WITH AIR POCKETS !! THEN Martin... WENT OUT OF BUSINESS.
