Looks like a solid machine for the price! It's rare to see elliptical base clamp tracks at this price point. Just a few stringing tips from an ex-pro stringer: at 2:01, the string is running underneath the diablo. This is causing unneeded stress onto the string. Another important tip is that your fanning method is superfluous at times, meaning the string is actually staying in the same place even though you have technically moved the string. The point of fanning is to not let the string move in the same place to prevent grooves (damage) into the string -- especially with polyester. At 1:55, you can hear the string moving over two grooves that should not be there. Try fanning the string farther downwards and letting the string come back up. At 2:32, you stop weaving one ahead -- making it harder to weave the subsequent string. Looks like you're stringing Solinco Tourbite -- it's already a tough string to weave as is :)

Thanks for the tips that you gave me !!!

Yeah I was going to comment on his misuse of the diabolo. Creates an unnecessary additional friction. In case you don’t know, Darius, you want to run the string over the top of the diabolo, wind it once around it, then to the gripper.

Did u ever figure out a way to calibrate the tension? I’d like to raise mine by about 0.5 lb. Also I went through 1 power adapter so be sure to keep u a back up 24V one so u don’t get stuck in middle of stringing and wasting a set of string like I did. Luckily my seller replaced it for me quickly.

The calibration screen is accessed by holding the enter button while turning on the machine. Screen will show 45. Place string tied to a digital weight scale with 2 decimal precision. Fix the scale to the furthest billiard and pull the string. Enter the actual tension shown on the scale into the calibration screen using the +- button. Press Enter when finished. Power cycle the tension head and recheck with digital scale. Repeat as necessary. I’ll have a video posted @letsgetstringing channel

Hello Darius, i have a new Tomcat mt400 and i started to use it yesterday, but i noticed a difference between mine and yours. When i pass the string in to the puller and press the pulling button without a consistent pressure of the fingers, the clamp doesn't close and stops at the right signing error E 07( not pressure detected). On yours instead I don't see the same problem. Do you know why is it this difference? Thanks!

CALIBRATION-MT400 1\ Power OFF; 2\Turn ON while the "ENTER" pad is pressed; 2.1)When“Cal…”displayed,release “ENTER”; Then the MT-400 does self-test automatically; Then the MT-400 displays “45.0” automatically, means waiting for pulling 45.0 lbs; 3\ Hold the calibrator (exact instrument) and load the string in line, then click “PULL/RELEASE” (or the handle switch). 4\ Wait a moment, the changes on the calibrator (exact instrument) is slow down. Then press “+” or “-”, let the display on MT-400 is just equal to the reading on the calibrator (exact instrument), then press “ENTER”to confirm as soon as possible. 5\ Flash for 2 time automatically, then release the string automatically. 6\ Take out the string as soon as possible; 7\ wait a moment (2-3S), MT-400 does self-test automatically. The calibration is complete. It is recommended to TURN OFF first, THEN TURN ON to start the MT-400 again.
