This part was, I think, the saddest and most emotionally powerful in the entire game. Seeing the New Kid, your character, sit at the table and eat that food with disinterest and melancholy really gets to me. It shows how tragic a life the New Kid has. His parents are fighting, there's all sorts of crazy shit happening around him, his friends are pushing him to join this game to make themselves famous without even considering his feelings, and it's like no one takes the time to understand him at all. That's a real harsh situation, if you ask me.
