Awesome, I would strip off the basecoat with alcohol, I might have try this on a mini I dislike.

Great work Kenny, thanks for sharing! Can you tell us how long you left the paint layers to dry before going to the next stage - especially the time between the last, top layers (sky blue and black) and the start of the ISP alcohol wash? And if you have experimented with different timings? Many thanks.

I didn't wait at all, only as long as it took me to clean my airbrush, so a minute or so. The only experiment I've done is letting the paint sit for 8 hours overnight, and it didn't change the result much at all.
