YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!!! Thank you so so much for posting this. I've been searching everywhere for hours and was totally overwhelmed when I first saw the "code" lol. So far after hours of searching it is because of this video I'm actually able to solve this problem. I've built an app and online course but the automation process like this is frustrating for me.....I honestly would like to see if you'd be interested in some paid work by chance?

what if I need to send different email for different product link? How do I set different zap for that

Hey - good question - to do that, you need to add a filter Zap in the middle of the workflow - then use the data from the Stripe Zap (the first one you added) to create a diverging path. That way you can send a different email per product purchase

@@orlie_dev question about this, too: in the filter, is the "description" field mean the name of the product? Wondering which drop-down field I should choose for the filter to read. Eg: description + (text) is exactly + name of product. Would that be right?

What do I do if I can't test, or there aren't any events in my stripe to properly test?

That's a good point, you have to trigger the event yourself using Stripe's test-account - here's an example of what Zapier says you should do: zapier.com/help/create/basics/change-the-test-data-in-your-zap-trigger If that doesn't work email me orlie @ lf.gg and I can try to send you a Zoom invite to fix it!

Thanks for you video. I'm trying to get a client_reference_id from a payment link checkout session. Actually I cannot get session id (Data Object ID) from the trigger in the flow (I think there has been a downgrade from zapier). Also the interface is different I can only trigger: new payment, new invoice etc but no "checkout session complete"... does anybody please know how to solve this? Many thanks

Hi. I’ve tried using both versions of Stripe and I’m unable to use “Data Object I’d:” My webhook is failing the test. Any idea why?

I just tested this and it works, do you have any test payments in Zapier by any chance?

@@orlie_dev Yes, I do. Those work just fine, but when I get to testing the webhook it fails.

Are you only using Zapier? I have a similar integration using Make which I find is much more powerful.

Thanks for the comment! I am familiar with Zapier but I am happy to use anything really - pretty familiar with nocode tools luckily!
