Stripers and Cinder Worms: small soft plastics catch a lot of fish in the Spring!

Do you ever throw unweighted worms like a Zoom trick worm when they are keying in on the cinders or do you always use a jighead?

I always use a jighead just for distances sake, but they would definitely hit an unweighted one if it were in front of them when cinders are around

Would you say cinder worms spawn mid-late April?

Yes there abouts. Some times earlier depending on the water temperature.
