What's the word on attaching the leader to the bucktail? Speed clip? Tie directly to the lure? Some other clip? I was throwing a half ounce BT and the speed clip was a bit tight.

I love using clips for the convenience, and they even help with the action of some lures similar to a loop knot. They make various sizes so you might need to size up or down depending on what you're throwing if the clip is too thick or too thin for the line tie. -Nick

It won’t help the wholesale industry, but… talk to a local bow hunter. You guys are loaded with deer on Long Island. I’m an avid bow hunter and I keep tons of deer tails on hand. I’m sure there are all kinds of hunters out your way who follow your channel and would probably just give you deer tails for free. Just a thought for those who tie there own. Thank you for all the learning curves and good luck out there.
