I love my little belt sander I sure am glad I don't have to buy the belts. For driver Quality Josh you are making the gaps way better then factory. Watching you work on this truck makes me wish I could have a project again. Awesome Job man, Have a Merry Christmas buddy. Thanks for the video.

Thanks Ray. I'm going to try the HF one soon. The belts are pretty cheap, but I'm not sure yet how long they last.

Looks awesome Josh! I think you mentioned you are going to run it in primer but will you shoot the blue on the interior and around the glass before you put it together?

I'm actually going to paint the entire cab inside and out very soon. I need to do that before I can put any of it back together

Cut it about a 1/4 from the body line and weld it. The body line will help keep it from warping just go slow. A glue seam will end up showing through the paint after a few heat cycles. I worked in a body shop for years, panel body is not good for long flat panel seams allways bleeds through the paint.Nice truck good luck with the build.

I agree with welding, I just welded a part quarter panel on a 68 dart, I flanged the original quarter, I went slow welding, 1/4" at a time and cooled it with compressed air, turned out great.

Thanks for the info. I guess I didn't think about that and don't want the seam to show up later.
