Downsizing the length of the copper is necessary when you're melting it but the length shouldn't matter if you're taking it in as #1 bare bright. It may even work in your favor to u lead a 3 ft. Bundle.

No i know length doesnt matter its just easier for me too store it in the short lengths is all. Its easy for me too store, carry, and load the buckets vs larger bundles. Some day i want too be large enough I can fill gaylord boxes and ship it that way
