Its important we love God the most & not put other things before him. Great video. Very inspiring... Our decisions undoubtedly determine our destiny.

I had a similar experience. I was swimming out to sea, but I got the worse cramp in my leg. I was also caught in a riptide, so I had to exert all of my strength in my upper body to help me get back to shore. Thankfully, I made it back to shore but I couldn't stand up. Fortunately, a body builder helped lift me up. :)

Our General Authorities and the Auxiliaries are prone to tell us stories of people that, by ignorance or lack of a good head, put themselves in dangerous situations and, then those examples are transfered to conditions of spiritual matters. Well done!!! It works, it is real and it happens and, like in the video, it is Divine Help the very miracle that takes us out into safety.

Splashing joyfully at the seaside, a drift of seaweed caught me behind my knees and pulled me away in an outbound tide. I struggled to keep my head above surface and I swallowed salt water. My legs were caught and the force too strong to swim. Then, a strong hand grabbed my arm and someone was pulling me back to shore. My big brother had never taken his eyes off me.

When I was 10, I got stuck in a rip during the night, back then I didn't know how you were supposed to get out of one I screamed for help, but nobody heard me, my shortly after, my mum told my brother to get me because we were going home,when he stepped in, he felt how strong the currant was, so he told my mum and her boy friend and they both swam out to save me, they caught up easily, and then a random guy in denim jeans jumped out to save me I was praying the whole time, finally, a lifeguard came, when I got to shore finally, I almost passed out because of so much salt water, I had to be taken in an ambulance to hospital, God answers my prayers, he can answer yours too

Folks, if you get caught in a rip tide, swim parallel to the shore to get out of it.

This is a great video, I love how it includes that we can lead others away with our examples. We should always try to be good, surrounded by people or alone.❤️ Though I suppose we're never truly alone the familiar primary song comes to mind "if the Savior stood beside me"

This is a great video! You can try and try, and you will never be righteous enough to be with God. It's like swimming against a rip tide. All our works are to him as filthy rags. Only by faith in Jesus do we stand a chance: _As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life._ (John 3:14-15)

The white J Cole Thanks, J. I believe the word of God, if that's what you mean. Romans 3:23 says all have sinned. And Romans 3:10 says, _"There is _*_none_*_ righteous, no, not one."_ (Romans 3:10) Do you not believe God?
@bowrudder8999 жыл бұрын
The white J Cole You say, _"No. I dont believe in a magic sky daddy that bestows atrocities upon his people because he loves them."_ That is good. I don't either. Then you ask, _"You believe in the book of mormon?"_ No. And you ask, _"You want me to quote some bible verses and see how you agree with them? Cause i got plenty."_ Make sure they are normative. In other words, make sure that it is not just something that happened once, or something that God told Israel to do once. Instead, make sure that it is something that God actually commands us to do across the board. For example, Judah slept with his daughter-in-law. But that is not normative; that is not something that the Bible tells us to do. It was a sin. The Bible simply describes that Judah did it. Another example: God told Israel to kill all the Canaanites. But he doesn't command them to do it today; that was a one-time affair. Those were the same Canaanites who sacrificed their children to their god by burning them alive. They did all the perversions that God told Israel not to do (having sex with animals, for example). And that was their judgment for their egregious, wanton sin. But that was a one-time act. It was limited to a specific time and place. (And yes, God punishes sin.) Here is a positive example: Jesus commands his followers to love their enemies and to pray for those who persecute them. That is something that, if you are a follower, you're supposed to do. Take care, my friend.

The white J Cole God didn't say _"It is okay to rape women as long as you pay their father a small sum and marry them"._ It says that's what you should do IF someone rapes them. It does not say it is okay to rape them. Try again.
@bowrudder8999 жыл бұрын
The white J Cole You say, _"The god who says that slaughtering women and childeren is ok as long as he 'tells' you to do so?"_ We are all going to be punished for our sin, J. Israel was punished for their sin by the Assyrians and Babylonians. The Canaanites were spit out of the land for their gross immorality. You and I will stand before God. You think women and children are innocent? You obviously don't watch Jimmy Kimmel and what happens when children don't get what they want. But I understand, we all feel like we are in a position to judge God. When you stand before him this delusion will go away.
@bowrudder8999 жыл бұрын
The white J Cole Psychopaths are straight out of Romans chapter 1. That's what happens when you delude yourself long enough and give yourself over to sin. Look, even you don't think there is a God, even though your conscience and all of creation tell you there is. You suppress the truth yourself. But when you die and stand before God, the delusion will disappear.

We don t give a damn about the after life. We just want to be happy here and this start by men being virgin before marriage, faithfull afterwards till death and treating wimen well. Do such men exist ? And i love my coffee so much and a glass of wine is certainly less dangerous than trusting a man for any of the abe.

+BlueEyes Brittany such men DO exist, keep looking! :D Just make sure you're looking in the right places.
@lindychamberlain94325 жыл бұрын
I hear ya. I didn’t think they existed, either. I couldn’t tell the good ones from the bad ones, so I ran away from all of them. One of the good ones chased me down and now we’re married. Trust your gut and trust God. He’s the only one who sees our journeys from beginning to end.
