Overall I give this product 4 stars out of 5 because it can't function as a solid flood (white) light like I had hoped it would. I was hoping to be able to shine light on my trailer hitch while being in park, and while the reverse light is very nice, I can't get it to do that and be a solid white light. I can use the solid amber however which is also very bright so it's not the end of the world. The light is very bright and the functionality for a strobe is solid.

How does the light do during the daytime?? Any daytime in the sun videos?? I am thinking of getting this but still not 100% How it would do in the sunlight...

I think all of the patterns are patterns, in other words not completely random. That said, there are something like 31 different patterns to choose from including a solid "on".

Sorry Justin, just saw this comment. I had a local shop here in Auburn, Ca wire it up for me. Not super sure how they did it but I know they did a ground in the engine bay, toggle switch in the cab and it works flawlessly.

You need to buy the 4 touch switch from strobes and more,they have it for $30 right now.then you’d be able to make it flash in warning mode single color(amber)position 2 (flash warning mode both colors amber/white),and can override to white flood with the 3 switch. I bough that switch for the crescents I’ve installed on the mirrors(i did some searching and everyone said I can only had 1 color flashing in warning mode for me to do the override white flood)but with the touch 4 switch works perfect.position 1 color 1 1 flashing,position 2 both colors flashing/position 3 override white flood.I can even have the second color flash warning(white color)and you can set up 1 button to change flash patterns.
