Great! I can follow it. A lot of tutorials are too fast and "Look at how clever I am" using shortcuts etc. Speaking to people who hardly need this level of advice. Tim is a genuine teacher. Thank you.

One of the best tutorial videos I have seen. It is quick, clear, concise, and to the point. And this method is better than any other I've seen on other videos about removing color cast with Photoshop. Thanks for sharing!

For whatever reason, Tim, I have not yet been able to work it's magic on my particular image. Having watched carefully your procedure, I have faith in it. There does not appear anything more recent on the subject, except those concentrating on the face. Best regards, Jim

Okay Tim that was WAY too easy!! Thank you sooooo much for this amazing tip! I've been messing around with channel mixer, hue/sat adjustment layers ad nauseum all to no avail, this did the trick, you saved our family portrait (next time I'll pull out the gray card instead of just leaving it in the bag...

Thank you so much for this extremely helpful and concise video. I have been trying for some time to find help with this in my balancing of colour negatives after capture. I have had some reasonable success with taking a shot of a blank portion of the negative and white balancing on the positive of that but I think your way will be better.

Thank you! This has helped me greatly in editing an old family photo. However I did have a slight issue while following your direction. In PSE 10 the invert button was found under; Layer, New Adjustment Layer and Invert. Once I figured that part out, everything went very smoothly.

I have found that you can also get good results by using "Grain Merge" or "Overlay" with the layer mode in addition to the "color" one for your solid color mask. Overlay can also adjust the exposure but it's not as strong overall as color.
