I'm running a 16 4 Musashi with Godzilla and Scharnhorst as inspirations and it's amazing. You really shouldn't gloss over the AP shell fuse time change on Musashi. I've noticed a huge increase in full pens on cruisers.

Nachi (both cmndr and ship) is a sleeper and an absolute menace! I've got Mikawa and Yamamoto as inspirations and I was absolutely chunking BBs.

Interesting stuff. Thank you for that. Unsure, as yet, but I MIGHT drop for the Yamato commander, and then take my chances with some boxes. I never buy the ships from these things direct, because the prices are always ridiculous, and even more so this time. I have AL Atago, and she is S-C-A-R-Y. My favorite "match" with her is T6 'Southern Dragon' (it's not only about being bad-@$$, it's also about how cool you look getting there). I've seen those buffed HEs wreck BBs.

I got yamato in a crate and ranked her to 16/2 before tossing her on my OG Musashi for the ranked battles. Good god she is a monster. I steamrolled to rank 1 only losing 1 match. Turret traverse is pretty much Italian levels and shell grouping is like an Iowa regardless of range it seems

You are correct . You get two salvos, not one. The accuracy is calculated when the shell is fired, not when the shell lands. Otherwise you would see some insane last second shell trajectory changes considering the net dispersion change from an ARP Musashi spotter plane is 18%.

Do you get the spotter advantage only when the timer is ticking, or can you get one more advantage shot before the plane lands (but the timer has already expired on the plane)?

I’m not getting Musashi I was trying to get it out of crate spent 100$ total on the game this month just because I spent part of that on the lunar crates and the other on the apr crates but I have most of the commanders now tho

I am a bit confused, on Japanese Battleships, since you don't have access to range mods, you are more than likely going to run MBRM in slot 4, going from 30s to 27s reload. Add on Musashi's 7.5 seconds, and you have 10 seconds of between your first salvo to get off another shot frm your main guns with the spotter active. Also, ARP Musashi's short fuse wprks wonders on the Japanese 356mm and 410mm BBs, since they have lower arming thresholds, on lighty armor sections you are more like to get Full Pens because of the reduced fuse time.

I agree with most of what ur saying exept for the musashi/yamato commanders dilemma: Imo Musashi is far better than yami, as the 2nd is more adapted do newer players. U don't really need extra range with it, even if u will never say no to having more of it, and a good player will never suffer from yami's turret traverse, especially when it isn't like in the pc version. Plus u didn't talked about the 4th slot skill of musa, which is amazing, as it always allows u to shoot 2 times with spotter on (I tested it for several weeks now), and the -25% arming time is deadly for cruisers. I clearly saw the difference, and I'm glad I 🤑 for musa. (Yami is not a bad commander tho. I just think musa is better imho)

I got the arp musashi for only 1k gold. Only had 2.3k gold after buying the admiralty backing and decided to get 2 containers. ARP musashi was the first thing I got and I don’t own the OG ship. Big W

ARP Musashi is better for every IJN BB. ARP Yamato is better as an inspiration. With 20 seconds rudders on Yamato and Musashi, a faster turret traverse is worthless. What does matter is faster arming AP shells which fixes the number one problem with Musashi and Yamato: overpens. As IJN BBs generally have the largest shell sizes for their tiers, overpens will always be problematic. There are few if any IJN BBs that would benefit from a faster turret traverse. They’re generally not brawlers.
